Small-Scale Mechanical Recycling of Solid Thermoplastic Wastes: A Review of PET, PEs, and PP

The mechanical recycling of solid plastic waste on a small-scale level can be accomplished with the correct approaches. Thermoplastics are types mostly considered for because their physical properties and ease reprocessing. This paper reviews reprocessing techniques selected thermoplastics (polyethylene terephthalate polyolefins), since they constitute significant proportion plastics used commercially. Furthermore, necessary considerations effective operation plants, including energy requirements machinery optimisation in order to improve efficiency product quality, discussed.
